Whenever I give someone a credit card or ID (doc office, retailer, etc) I hold my wallet in my hand until it get the card back. Otherwise I will forget and just walk/drive away. I hate it when they say “your card is in the bag”…I will forget that within seconds & trash the card w/ bag
